The Arlington Historical Society, with offices in the Smith Museum, hosts a yearly lecture series as well as offering individual and group tours of the historic Jason Russell House. Through its education and outreach program, the Arlington Historical Society welcomes school classes and groups to explore life in colonial America.
Patriots Day 2024

Saturday, April 13 from 12noon-4pm
Monday, April 15 from 12noon-4pm
The Battle of Menotomy Reenactment is back, and bigger than before! It will run along Prentiss Road to Medford Street starting at 2:00 p.m. The reenactment includes the Jason Russell House, and as a result it will be closed on Sunday. We welcome visitors, however, on Saturday and Monday.
The attached museum is open at the same time as house and on weekdays Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will be closed 4/16 – 4/18.
