Jason Russell House Children's RoomThis is the second of the first two southern rooms built by Jason Russell. It served as the only bedroom of the house until Mr. Russell built the northern two rooms.

Since that time, it has always served as the children’s room for generations of Russell children – their scribblings are still visible above the fireplace.

The room is simply sheathed, and has a whitewashed, unplastered ceiling.

The room features a rope bed that folds up to make more space in the room. About the room are children’s toys from the 18th and 19th centuries.
